This weekend Jace had a 7 on 7 football tournament, that was affiliated with his school. He had four games on Saturday, beginning at 8am. The good thing about that is the location was only 10 minutes from our house. He did great, playing wide receiver and safety. However, they only won 1 game. It is supposed to be all about fun though, right?! Yeah, tell that to a hormonal 12 year-old, that is on the edge of being a teenager…
and let me know how that works out for ya!!
Since we spent most of the day outside – I was able to get some pics of little man.
Blake had a soccer game, so he & Jeff came out for a little while prior to his game and had a “picnic” lunch with us outside in between Jace’s morning and afternoon game. Daddy got to spend a little time with Reed during lunch.
Blake is so used to hanging all day with us during Jace’s many tournaments. He really is a trooper. Saturday, he only had to stay for a little bit and was in good humor.
I can almost always get a smile from this super cool dude! Here he is fighting the sun to give me a grin.
After the games we headed home, then I turned around and took Jace to my brother’s. So excited that these four have moved back to Texas. I love being able to hop in the car, drive for about 30 min, then Voila!… I get to see my sweet niece & nephew and Brian & Erin too of course. It was nice visiting with the adorable Lester munchkins. Love these kids Oh! so much! My little princess and hot-wheel fanatic!
We had a nice weekend, busy as usual, but we love every minute of it. The boys have lots of exciting things they are working on, so be on the lookout for that.
One more sweet pic of my little lover boy! He had a long day and was so good through it all.
Happy Sunday! Have a wonderful week!
Peace & love
